Spring 2010 Bulletin

Several days after Thanksgiving, 2009, Associates of the Wisconsin Society of the OFPA met for a festive luncheon in Brookfield, Wisconsin where turkey, potatoes and all the trimmings were served. The occasion was marked by the joint participation of members of the Society of the War of 1812 in Wisconsin. In keeping with the season, the speaker, past Governor General Thomas P. Curtis, recounted the story of the First Thanksgiving and the hardships that preceded it.
