Any man of the age of eighteen years, of good moral character and reputation and a citizen of the United States.
Who is lineally descended in the male line of either parent, from an ancestor who settled in any of the Colonies now included in the United States of America prior to 13 May 1657.

The Texas delegation to the 116th General Court held in Chicago included past Governor General Lytt leton T. Harris IV, his nephew Phoenix Austi n Harris , Texas Governor Donald L. Stone, Jr. and his wife Kaye. Staying at the Union League Club along with the other planned activities was a rich and satisfying experience. This year, Governor Stone has represented The Texas Society of the Orders of Founders and Patriots of America at several Sons of the American Revolution events including chapter meetings and the National Congress held this year in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Texas Society is involved with the planning of the Joint Hereditary Societi es of Texas Annual Meeting to be held in Houston on October 26-27, 2012. There will be eight hereditary societies participating—The Texas Society of Colonial Wars, The Texas Society of the Order of Founders and Patriots of America, The Texas Society of the War of 1812, The Texas Branch of the Royal Society of St. George, The Texas Society of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars, The Jamestowne Society and Order of the Founders of North America.
