Fall 2011 Bulletin
The Kentuckiana Society of the Order of the Founders and Patriots met at the Pendennis Club on Saturday, July 9, 2011, for a luncheon. Dr. Jack J. Early opened the meeting, and the Prayer of the Order and the Pledge of Allegiance were recited by the Associates and guests. Dan Klinck distributed copies of the Minutes, and they were approved. The Treasurer, Tom House, provided copies of the Treasurer's Report, and the report was approved. Dennis Babbitt, Registrar, indicated that we had no new members to report.
 Both Dennis Babbitt and Terry Brown reported on making ROTC awards at Ball State University and the University of Louisville. Governor Early gave a summary on the recent General Court held in New York City. The General Court for 2012 will be held in Chicago, Illinois.
Following the business session, the Associates and guests were served a delicious lunch. After lunch, Governor Early introduced the speaker, William P. Carrell III, who is the Lieutenant Governor of The Jamestowne Society, Kentucky Company. Mr. Carrell gave an informative and excellent presentation on the settlement at Jamestowne.
