Who is lineally descended in the male line of either parent, from an ancestor who settled in any of the Colonies now included in the United States of America prior to 13 May 1657.

Spring 2012 Bulletin
The Order of Founders and Patriots of America in the State of California (OFPA-CA) provided OFPA ROTC and NROTC award medals and certi fi cates to ten colleges this spring: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Southern California (USC), the Claremont Colleges, California State University Fullerton, Gonzaga University, University of California, Berkeley, University of San Francisco (USF), Central Washington University, University of San Diego (USD), and Santa Clara University (SCU). Associate Robert Bingham presented the ROTC and NROTC awards at both the UCLA and USC ceremonies. Former OFPACA Governor Ken Walker presented the awards at the Claremont Colleges ceremony. Associate Ronald Lotz, CWO-4, USMC (ret) presented the ROTC award at California State University, Fullerton.
The OFPA-CA held their spring meeti ng as a guest society of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of California. The OFPA-CA business meeti ng and the joint luncheon were held at the Los Angeles Athleti c Club on June 9, 2012. The luncheon speaker was David Hayball, Governor of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of California. Mr. Hayball spoke about his ancestor Major General Nathanael Greene of Rhode Island. Major General Greene was a Quaker whose organizati onal skills as Quartermaster for the Conti nental Army was a criti cal contributi on to the success of the Revolution.
